My Story…

I'm a passionate advocate for endometriosis awareness, shaped by my own journey through years of unexplained pain and frustration. After countless doctor visits and being dismissed too often, I was finally diagnosed and underwent laparoscopic surgery on February 25, 2025. That experience not only brought answers, but lit a fire in me to speak up and support others navigating the same path.

In high school, I discovered long-distance running. Running gave me strength, mentally and physically. Every time I felt exhausted and like I could not go on, I would push myself a little bit further. Today, I’m an occupational therapist who helps others manage and overcome chronic pain—work that’s deeply personal and meaningful to me.

My diagnosis and this event have inspired me to return to running, 10 years later. I’m proud to run for this cause, and hopeful that each step brings greater awareness, compassion, and change for those living with endometriosis.
