My Story…
Dear Friends, On Oct 25, 2025 I am participating in the annual Miles for Migraine Walk/Run in SF. This event raises money for much-needed migraine disease education, support groups, and closing the gap in the headache specialist shortage. Severe migraine attacks are classified by the WHO as the 4th most disabling illness, comparable to dementia, quadriplegia, and active psychosis. Yet, migraine research to fund a cure is the least funded of all neurological conditions. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart (and my nervous system and my brain) since it has impacted me personally greatly. I want to raise funds this year, because we do not have enough doctors in this field to support people living with migraine disease. I have set a personal fundraising goal of $1,000. Would you consider making even a minimal charitable donation of $10 to help me achieve my goal? I am very grateful for your support.
