In honour of Brain Injury Awareness Month, we are excited to announce our 20th Annual 5K By the Bay. This significant milestone of two decades marks a celebration like no other, as we unite as a community to support brain injury survivors and their families.

Registration Opens at 8:30 a.m.

Walk a Mile in My Shoes (9:45 a.m.): We invite all survivors, family members, friends, community partners, and supporters to join us in our "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" event, kicking off our 20th Annual 5K By the Bay. Together, we will walk alongside survivors to raise awareness of acquired brain injury during this important month.

Blake Heys Memorial Kids 1K Fun Run (10:30 a.m.): Calling all elementary students from kindergarten to Grade 6! Participate in our Kids 1K Fun Run, where exciting prizes await winners in each grade category, along with a very special prize for the top pledge collector!

5K Classic Race (11:30 a.m.): Join us for our Classic 5K, certified by Athletics Canada. Fabulous prizes will be awarded to winners in each age category.

Walk a Mile in my Shoes - Family/ Friends Closed

Walk a Mile in My Shoes (10:00 a.m.): Calling all survivors, family members, friends, community partners and members! Kick off our 20th Annual 5K By the Bay with us by participating in our Walk a Mile in My Shoes event. Walk among survivors in an effort to raise awareness of acquired brain injury during Brain Injury Awareness month. Please note, if you are wanting to walk/run/wheel alongside your family member/ friend, we welcome you to register and receive a customized 5K By the Bay race t-shirt ($15.00 fee).

Blake Heys Memorial Kids 1K Fun Run (10:30 a.m.): Calling all Elementary students within kindergarten to Grade 6 to join our Kids 1K Fun Run. We have a fantastic assortment of prizes for winners within each grade category and a VERY special prize for the top pledge collector!
