Our story…

In March 2024, Stacey was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. From that moment on, she faced every day with incredible strength, grace, and unwavering determination. She fought hard - not just for herself, but for her family, her friends, and everyone who loved her. Stacey’s courage inspired everyone around her. She met the hardest days with hope. Even through treatments, doctor visits, and countless challenges, her kindness, humor, and fierce love for life never wavered. In July 2025, after a brave and tireless fight, Stacey passed away. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit remains a powerful force in our lives. We run this 5K in her honor to celebrate her life, to remember her fight, and to carry forward her legacy of strength, compassion, and love. We are Team Stacey, and this is for her.
