I run the headache medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai where we train physicians to manage headache, migraine, and other complicated headache syndromes, and we need help! 

This Miles for Migraine event is to help raise funding to support the fellowship so we can continue to train them and provide their education resources, and also to help support our Center's research! There is a nationwide shortage of headache medicine specialists, and over a billion people worldwide who have migraine. So this fellowship program serves a huge need to patients everywhere! And with migraine being one of the leading causes of disability, research is crucial to helping people get back to functioning and improving quality of life! 

As someone living with chronic migraine, I know first hand how debilitating migraine can be, and how hard it is to navigate the invisibility of the condition and all of the stigma that comes with it.
