Volunteer Opportunities
It takes a lot of people to make an event like this a success, and that includes all of our volunteers.
Please take the time to signup and choose the role you'd like to fill. Should you want to do more than one thing on different days, that is also encouraged. Volunteering is open to ALL, including youth. We will sign off for youth service hours for the time they donate to us.
Our largest need is for course marshals. These are folks who stand on the street corners the morning of the race to keep the runners safe, and to help manage traffic as well. The fun part of this is that you get to encourage and interact with the runners as they pass. Volunteers for this usually arrive at their location around 8:00am, and are free by 9:30am. This is a great job for our youth, or for those who can't lift and do much physical activity. Bring a lawn chair, go to your assigned spot, and have a great time!!
