This year, our family has made the decision to take part in the 25th Annual Community in Motion: The Serious(ly) Fun Run! 

For our daughter Mackayla, this walk means so much more than just putting one foot in front of the other — it’s about working toward a bucket list goal she’s determined to achieve. Her friends and family are beyond excited to stand beside her as she walks her very first 2K! 💪💜

Mackayla’s journey hasn’t been easy in this past year. She faces daily struggles with obstacles that require her to fight harder than most. Yet, she never gives up. Every day she shows us what true strength, courage, and resilience look like. With her family and community cheering her on, we know she can achieve this milestone too. 

That’s why we’re walking for her — and with her — as she pushes toward this incredible goal. 

We’re also proud to be supporting Community Living London, an organization that has already helped Mackayla in so many ways, and will continue to walk beside her into adulthood. CLL empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to live, learn, and thrive in a community that values inclusion — and we are forever grateful for their support.

This isn’t just about fundraising. It’s about showing Mackayla that she is never walking this journey alone. Every donation, every share, and every word of encouragement brings her one step closer to checking this dream off her list. And it doubles as a great fundraiser for a gem in our community.
