Help Maria raise money

Hi there! I figured I should start this off by introducing myself. My name is Maria, and I was born and raised in Fort McMurray. While I moved to Edmonton for school a couple years ago, I am back in town completing my practicum as an x-ray tech student! I started my running journey in March of this year, and while I never thought running was for me, I was inspired to give a try. After my first run I was completely enthralled with the sport and haven't stopped since! I am currently training for the Inter Pipeline Half Marathon in September and aiming to raise money for the Local HERO Foundation. This organization provides emergency response via helicopters to people across Northern Alberta, allowing for a timely response to medical emergencies, as well as other situations requiring immediate support. Especially during my time working at the hospital I have seen first hand the essential role of first responders in our community, which is why I chose to donate to this organization.
