My Story…
YANA made us feel welcomed by our Comox Valley Community before we were even born.
Our family stayed in one of their apartments in Vancouver for the 5 weeks that we were in NICU. It was a safe place, close to the hospital - given without our overwhelmed parents having to arrange anything. Our family was able to focus on cuddling us in NICU and getting us big and strong enough to come home to the island.
When families from Comox have to travel to Vancouver, Victoria, or Nanaimo for specialized healthcare for their children, YANA provides accommodation and support.
YANA made us all feel so supported - we would really appreciate your help in making other families feel the same way!
