My Story…
In 2006, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. While I’m incredibly grateful to be on the other side of it now, I’ll never forget how overwhelming that time was not just for me, but for my entire family. The emotional and physical toll of treatment is exhausting on its own. But then there’s everything else: the fatigue, the hair loss, the time away from loved ones and the mounting bills that don’t pause for cancer.
I was fortunate to have a strong support system around me but not everyone is that lucky and that’s something I think about often. Cancer doesn’t just affect your health, it touches every part of your life.
That’s why I’m passionate about supporting Families Raising Hope. FRH is an incredible organization that provides critical financial support to Arizona residents undergoing cancer treatment. They help ease the financial burden so they can focus on healing instead of worrying about how they’ll pay for rent, medical bills, or even gas to get to treatment.
I’m walking to support those still in the fight and to give back to a cause that means so much to me personally. If you’re able to support me or the mission of FRH I would be truly grateful.
Together, we can bring real hope to real people when they need it most.
