My Story…
As a social worker at Banner Cancer Center in Tucson, I see every day how strength, compassion, and community transform the cancer journey. Our patients face incredible challenges, but programs like this one give them hope, connection, and the support they need to keep moving forward.
Running this 5K is a way to honor their resilience — every step we take represents the courage and determination our patients show every day. Our team is proud to lace up, have fun, and “pace it forward” in support of the people and families we serve.
