My Story…

In memory of our sweet Sylas Boo Boo Bear 🩵.

Sylas was born on December 26, 2024 and had suffered severe HIE (hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy). This is when a brain injury occurs and the brain does not get enough oxygen before, during and/or shortly after birth. Unfortunately, Sylas’ brain stem was severely damaged (which is irreversible) and had multiple ongoing seizures. Our sweet boo bear fought hard for 3 weeks and had passed away in our loving arms on January 16, 2025 at Canuck Place. 

Feel free to donate whatever you wish. If you would like participate in the Butterfly Run in Sylas‘ memory (The Hunny Bunch), you can do so in person in Vancouver for a 3 km or 5 km run/walk, or you can join virtually online ❤️.
