My Story…
Hello all!
For the past two years, I've supported Miles for Migraine by walking at their advocacy events. But this year, I'm beyond excited to have the opportunity to run my first ever 5K(!), supporting causes I'm passionate about: migraine & headache awareness, treatment, and research.
Per the American Headache Society, there are only 1.2 headache medicine physicians per 100,000 people with migraine in the US. Way too few! This saddens me, since I believe everyone deserves the best care to help address their headaches. As a current Headache Fellow at The Graham Headache Center at MGB, I've seen the direct benefits that my patients receive from having access to such specialized headache care.
