Why I’m Walking the Night Light Walk As a woman and a mother, I’ve been fortunate to live a life free from domestic violence—but I know that’s not the case for everyone. Many women and children live in fear, with nowhere to turn. That’s why I’m taking part in the Night Light Walk: to shine a light on their courage, to raise awareness, and to help fund the critical support they need to rebuild their lives. As a REALTOR® with Royal LePage, I’m proud to support the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. Through this foundation, every dollar raised goes directly to helping those in need—no administrative costs are taken. I believe it’s our collective duty to stand with survivors and help create a future where every woman and child has the safety, dignity, and support they deserve.
