As a local REALTOR®, I’ve had the privilege of working closely within our community — hearing stories, meeting families, and witnessing both the triumphs and the challenges faced by so many. Through this work, I’ve become increasingly aware of the growing need for advocacy and support, particularly for women and children experiencing violence and crisis situations.

Recently, I was introduced to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation’s Light Walk, and it truly resonated with me. This incredible initiative not only raises vital funds but also shines a much-needed light on an issue that too often goes unseen — the fight to provide safety, hope, and new beginnings for those escaping abuse.

Taking part in this event is my way of standing alongside those who dedicate their lives to supporting local women’s shelters right here in Edmonton. These organizations do remarkable work, offering refuge, resources, and a path forward for families in need.

I humbly ask for your support in this important cause. Whether through joining the walk,  a donation, sharing awareness, or simply taking a moment to reflect on the difference we can make together — every action counts.
