My Story…
In July 2024, my cousin and her families lives were turned upside down when their daughter Holland, was first diagnosed with a severe form of epilepsy. It was a terrifying moment for the entire family, filled with uncertainty, fear, and countless questions. Navigating life with epilepsy is not easy, but having the right support makes all the difference. Organizations like Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario are a lifeline for families —connecting them with resources, offering guidance, and reminding them that they are not alone in this fight.
This year, I am participating in the Seize the Day fundraiser. Raising funds, we hope to help families have access to the resources, support, and connection they need when they’re faced with the unknown.
