My Story…
Walking for Adrienne: Honoring a Legacy of Love & Service 
This year, I'm proudly joining Burlington St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog community in Tails on Trails - a meaningful walk-a-thon that brings our incredible volunteers and their four-legged heroes together to raise vital funds.
WALKING IN LOVING MEMORY 
We walk to honor Adrienne, a cherished volunteer whose heart overflowed with kindness and compassion. Adrienne understood the magical healing power of therapy dogs and dedicated herself to bringing comfort and joy to countless lives. Her legacy lives on in every wagging tail and gentle nuzzle our dogs share.
WHY THIS MATTERS TO ME 
Carter and I passed our evaluation in Spring 2023, and what a journey it's been! From our first nervous visit to becoming confident therapy partners, we've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact these programs have:
• Bringing smiles to seniors in care facilities
• Comforting patients in hospitals
• Supporting students and staff in schools
• Creating moments of pure joy in our community
In October 2023, I stepped into the role of Burlington Unit Coordinator. Leading this amazing group of golden-hearted volunteers has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Together with our phenomenal leadership team, we've worked tirelessly to celebrate our volunteers' dedication - culminating in our special Award Night on July 7th, honoring the countless hours of love these teams give freely to our community.
