Years ago, I joined St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs and quickly discovered the profound comfort and hope our visits bring to those in long-term care and throughout the community. I’m especially grateful to my therapy dogs, Zuzu (who has since passed) and Abby (now enjoying a well-earned retirement), for showing me the deep connections that can touch hearts and bring healing to those in need.
