My Story…
I'm Zachary, 15 years old, and I'm joining the Run for Palestine in loving memory of my grandfather, a Nakba survivor.
He was just three months old when his family was forced to flee their home in 1948 during this catastrophe. Though he has passed, his story lives on in my heart and continues to inspire me every day.
I'm running to raise urgent funds for food, clean water, and medical care essentials that so many Palestinians still lack today. I dedicate every donation as sadaqah jāriyah (ongoing charity) for my grandfather’s soul, praying that Allah ﷻ grants him the highest place in Jannah.
May Allah ﷻ ease the suffering of all oppressed families in Palestine, bring peace and justice to their land, and reward everyone who supports this cause with mercy and blessings. Ameen.
