My Story…
Grace was taken from us tragically and unexpectedly on April 22. Grace was a beautiful, Intelligent, athletic and talented young woman. She was a light in so many lives that will never be extinguished.
For some mental Illness is obvious, for some it is a silent struggle. It is a disease of the brain, a medical condition; it is not a weakness.Suicide does not discriminate. No one is entirely immune to the struggles that can lead someone to take their own life. Even those who have everything to live for, their entire lives ahead of them, and who are loved beyond measure die from suicide. We encourage everyone to make an effort to learn the science behind mental Illness. It is time to put an end to the stigma and change the language associated with this disease. Please support this cause in honour of Grace and all those who need to be assured that they are NOT ALONE.
