Skye was more than a rescue, she was a light. Adopted from a shelter Skye, came into our lives with a gentle spirit, unshakable loyalty, and a heart full of love. What started as one dog, finding her forever home quickly turned into something bigger: a bonded pack, united by the joy, comfort, and strength that only a rescue pup like Skye could inspire. Through her calm presence and fierce loyalty, Skye brought our pack together. She reminds us daily what unconditional love looks like and why every shelter animal deserves the same chance she had: a second chance, a safe home, and a family. We’re walking this 5K not just in Skye’s honor, but for all the shelter pets still waiting.
