Raise money for Georgia Arrhythmia Foundation

I would like to introduce you to the Georgia Arrhythmia Foundation.  We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that is committed to promoting community awareness of sudden cardiac arrest, providing CPR and AED training to develop bystander readiness and increasing the density of available AEDs.

We are excited to announce our 13th Annual SCARE 5K which will be held September 30th, 2023, at Amerson River Park, in Macon, Georgia.

We teach American Heart Association Heart Savers CPR and AED classes to schools, colleges, youth sporting organizations and other community organizations.   With COVID-19 challenging the way we teach our communities we are working to increase our impact by increasing the CPR/AED educators within the school systems and providing them with the resources needed to teach the CPR/AED classes.   We continue to provide AEDs where needed and have donated over 65 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) into the community.

Through one partnership with a local university, we were able to teach all student athletes, coaches and support staff Heart Savers CPR/AED.   Within 6 months of teaching all sports at this university the basketball team had a player collapse at practice.   The team was prepared and knew how respond!   The players started CPR and a member of the support staff went to an adjacent building to get an AED.   The basketball player survived thanks to the knowledge and training his teammates and coaches had received!   We believe bystanders with knowledge & confidence to act can save lives!

Your support provides us the opportunity to continue providing AEDs to local organizations as well as community CPR and AED education.  Join us and be a part of making a difference, as well as, saving lives in our community.
