My Story…
As a teacher the events of December 14, 2012 still haunt me as a teacher, as a mom and as a human. Whenever we have a lockdown - whether it be a drill or unexpected - something is triggered deep inside me and I look at my students and I truly kick into Mama Bear mode. Knowing that Vicki felt the same about her students forms a connection that I hold sacred. I am going to participate in this event every year starting this year until I can no longer find a way to do so. I hope you will consider making a donation to support this wonderful cause.
