Help Darlene raise money

Hello Friends,

Thank you for your continued support of our family and the causes important to us.  This year we are pleased to support the CHEO foundation and Roger Neilson House by raising money for their perinatal bereavement program in honour of our beloved son Michael.   

Michael was our first child and started my journey into motherhood.  Unfortunately, Michael was born prematurely and despite positive signs after several days took a sudden turn and passed away.  The sadness and grief that as overwhelming.  One fortunate lifeline was the Roger Neilson House.  I was able to plug into a wonderful network of moms & dads who knew exactly how I was feeling.  To this day we still support one another and have become stronger for it.  Michael made me a better mom to my other kids.  His memory inspires me to help others and in doing so he lives on through us.

(P.S. Some of you remember previously that I would make my homemade apple pie for donations.  Unfortunately due to  the dry hot weather there wasn’t much harvest this year.   That said for any Donation over $100 you will be entered into a draw for 1 of 3 pies as a special thanks)
