My name is Mohamed Rahima. I’m a Palestinian-Canadian, born and raised in Fort McMurray.

Since the war on Gaza started, I haven’t been able to live my life normally. Every time I sit down to eat, I think of the children my age in Gaza who are struggling just to find a single bite of food.

No child in the world should ever go through this.

The pain they feel is the pain we feel. Their suffering is not far from us — it’s in our hearts, it’s in our prayers, and it’s in the tears we shed quietly here.

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The believers are like one body — if one part hurts, the rest cannot rest until the pain is gone.”

I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart: please donate to support Gaza.

Let’s stand together as a community and show that Fort McMurray will never be silent in the face of injustice. Allah is watching, and every small act matters.
