💜 Running for my brother, Dan — Kicking Pancreas 5K
This November, our family — Peggy, Kate, Maggie, Max, and I — are lacing up our shoes and joining the Kicking Pancreas 5K Run in Vancouver, BC to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research.
We’re running for my brother Dan, who has been courageously fighting for his life for nearly two years. Through countless treatments and difficult days, Dan continues to inspire us all with his strength, humor, and unwavering love for life.
Dan has always been the heart of our family — the one who fills every room with laughter, optimism, and compassion. His presence reminds us to embrace every single moment we’re given. We want — and need — many more moments with him: more days, more weeks, and more months of joy, stories, and togetherness.
This run is our way to celebrate Dan’s fight, honor his spirit, and contribute to a future where no family has to endure the pain of losing someone to pancreatic cancer.
