Help Rosemary raise money

Dear Friends, I am participating in the 2025 Walk for Civil Liberties to raise awareness and funds about rights and freedoms in Canada. In the 40+ years since the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms was adopted, we have never seen so many provincial governments and the federal government trying to sidestep their responsibilities with respect to equality and fundamental freedoms for all people in Canada. The Trump administration in the US is forcing Canada to change our border laws to deny rights to refugees and migrants, and provincial governments are invoking the notwithstanding clause to deny fundamental rights to many marginalized and vulnerable communities. Please join me at the walk in Toronto on October 26 if you can, and if you can't, please make a donation so that CCLA can work even harder to try to ensure that the rights and freedoms of every person in Canada will be fully respected and protected.
