Parris came into the world fighting. Born prematurely, she showed incredible strength from her very first breath. At just 100 days old, she underwent life-saving surgery, a moment that changed everything for our family. The small scar she carries is a daily reminder of her courage, resilience, and the power of hope. Now 6 years old, Parris is bursting with energy and joy. Running is her happy place, it’s where her confidence shines and her spirit soars.

For our family, the Weet-Bix TRYathlon is so much more than just an event. It’s a celebration of how far Parris has come, the challenges she’s overcome, and the determined, beautiful soul she is becoming.

Every step she takes is a reminder of her strength, her journey, and the love and support that have carried her here. We are endlessly proud and grateful to watch her chase her dreams, one brave step at a time.
