My Story…
Hello! As a biomedical engineering graduate and running enthusiast, I’m so excited to run my first DC race for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Part of the network is the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, a hospital I conducted pediatric medical device research with during my senior year at Northwestern. Since moving to DC, I’ve been active with mentorship and children’s education through joining the Neighborhood Tutoring Program and the children’s ministry at a church near me. Now, I’m excited to contribute to children’s medicine and would love your support through a donation.
Last year I raised over $500 for youth and planet health through the Lifetime Foundation and this year I’m hoping to smash that goal for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! I hope to reach $600 by Feb 14th- a lovely goal for a lovely day!
The race will be held Sunday, April 6th, starting 7:30am at the Washington Monument grounds! If you’re able, I’d love to see your faces in the crowd:)

I'm fundraising $500 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals to run the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run, and need your support!
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 12 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services. When we improve the health of all children and allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential, we also improve our communities for years to come.
Together, we can change kids’ health. Together, we can change the future.
