For as long as I can remember, migraine has been a part of my life — not by choice, but as an uninvited companion that shows up without warning and changes everything. Some days, it’s a dull ache that lingers in the background. Other days, it’s an all-consuming pain that forces me into a dark, quiet room, unable to work, talk, or even think clearly.

Migraine isn’t just my story — it’s my family’s story. My parents both lived with it. Now my daughter does, too. Three generations, bound together by a condition that steals time, energy, and so many precious moments. We’ve missed birthdays, special outings, and simple everyday joys because of migraine’s unpredictability.

Despite how many lives it touches, migraine is still misunderstood, under-researched, and too often brushed aside. That’s why I’m raising funds for Miles for Migraine — to help change that. Every donation supports research, education, and community programs that bring hope and connection to people like me, my daughter, and millions of others who live with this invisible illness.

There’s no local event near me this year, but I’m still proudly fundraising and plan to participate in person next year. In the meantime, I’m committed to making a difference from wherever I am — and I hope you’ll join me.
