My Story…

Working at the Rescue Helicopters I know first-hand the costs involved in supplying the training and equipment that make it possible for our crews to save lives.

You might not think about them when you go about your daily life in Christchurch but if you have a crash driving to Tekapo or you have a bad accident skiing, or even a medical event in Akaroa or Hanmer, do you really want to have to be driven to Christchurch Hospital?

So, as a non-runner, I thought it would be great challenge to aim for 97km in August to fundraise for these guys.
