Raise money for Labrador Rescuers
Mission: To provide a safe and loving home for every Labrador in need and to specifically assist those dogs that need the most help.
Why Support Labrador Rescuers? As a 100% non-profit animal rescue, Labrador Rescuers prides itself in thoroughness and dedication to the hundreds of Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes we rescue each year. Before our Labradors are available for adoption they receive a wellness intake assessment by a certified veterinarian at which time needed vaccinations are given and all dogs receive a heart-worm and fecal test. Dogs are then spayed or neutered if needed. Each dog receives a microchip and topical flea and tick treatment. Many of the dogs we rescue have additional underlying medical needs that are found during their intake exam. Some of these conditions include kennel cough, dental problems, skin issues, ear infections, eye infections, malnourished, internal and external parasites. Some of the dogs we rescue are in dire need of emergency care or surgery from wounds, injuries or neglect.
The average cost per dog rescued is approximately $900 from intake to adoption. We pride ourselves on the accolades we’ve earned from the various nonprofit grading organizations below.
Thank you for your continued support and helping us continue with our daily mission to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Re-home the stray, abused and unwanted Labrador Retriever and Lab mixes. |
