I am running in the Mississauga Half Marathon for the second year in a row. Hoping to beat last years time and support Trillium Health Partners through donations. I am running for my wife, who is a cancer survivor, and all of my loved ones that have passed. And a special shout out to my Dad as I registered on his Birthday. He would have been 98 today...
Description
THP welcomes 1.7 million patient visits a year in facilities originally built to serve half that number. We see more patients in our emergency departments and urgent care centre than almost any other Ontario hospital. In the next two decades, our community will grow by a million more people, and half of our population will be living with at least one chronic condition such as diabetes, cancer or cardiovascular disease. While to Ontario government funds operations, community support is key to secure new technologies, especially for unplanned needs. Your support will help us support a growing population and offer a new kind of health care for a healthier community.
