PigAbilities is a unique opportunity for people with all types of disabilities to celebrate their achievement as they cross the Finish Swine in the Flying Pig Marathon!  This one-mile event empowers athletes with disabilities to run, walk, or roll at their own pace in the only event of its kind.  I am especially proud of this event as I shared the original idea of PigAbilities several years ago to the Flying Pig Marathon staff so that people like my daughter, Michaela, could participate in an accessible and inclusive event where there was support and compassion.  Now years later we are looking at nearly 2,000 participants!

I hope you will consider participating with me this year (Team Independence Alliance) as we hope to set attendance records for the 2025 PigAbilities.  If you cannot join us on Saturday, May 3rd, might you consider celebrating the achievement of so many by making a donation to support programs that empower people with disabilities to live independently?
