2025 BMO Vancouver Marathon

The non-profit Vancouver International Marathon Society RUNVAN® continues to drive sell-out capacity numbers across its events. Capacity limits are set in collaboration with City of Vancouver Stakeholders. No waitlist. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding.

RUNVAN thanks the community for the overwhelming support that has helped RUNVAN and the BMO Vancouver Marathon continue to grow. The Marathon event now annually attracts runners from 60+ countries and has once again hit a new event record with 25,000+ registrants, reaching sellout capacity faster than ever.

The community is also reminded you don’t have to be a runner to take part in the BMO Vancouver Marathon race weekend. Come out and show out Vancouver. The event relies on nearly 3,000 volunteers annually and is expanding its Block Parties and Fan Festival. Volunteer and Cheer!

Bib transfers are not allowed. If you're already registered and would like to switch race distances later, you may do so for a limited time through your Participant Dashboard.

Organized by the local non-profit RUNVAN®, Vancouver's only Marathon event offers 'Stunning Running' plus a RUN4HOPE charity program that helps runners funds for social impact and community good. Join Canada's largest Marathon race annually in May and help foster a spirit of community celebration.
