My Story…
Support MS Research: A Fundraiser in Honour of My Sister-in-Law
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease that affects the central nervous system, causing a range of symptoms that vary from person to person. It is an unpredictable and often debilitating condition, and it doesn’t just affect those living with it - it affects their families, friends, and communities as well.
Approximately 290 out of every 100,000 Canadians aged 20 and older have MS with 70% being women.
This cause is deeply personal to me, as my lovely sister-in-law, Kendra, was diagnosed with MS in her 20s. She has been an incredible source of strength and inspiration to everyone around her. I am launching this fundraiser in her honour to help fund critical research efforts aimed at finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for MS.
Currently, there is no known cure for MS, and treatments are limited. However, ongoing research is making incredible strides in understanding the disease and developing new therapies to improve the quality of life for those affected.
Thank you for your donations and for standing with my sister-in-law, and all those affected by MS.
Donate to help Kadence raise money for 2025 BMO Vancouver Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
