Still Running Strong – From 60 to Almost 90
I ran my first marathon at the age of 60—not to win, but to challenge myself, to grow stronger, and to embrace life with every stride. I had no idea then that this journey would continue for nearly three decades. Now at 89, just months away from turning 90, I'm still lacing up my shoes, still running, still chasing new goals. Each race reminds me that age is not a limit—it's a testament to how far we've come and how much more we can give. This year, I'm dedicating my marathon to a cause that matters deeply: raising funds for the BC Cancer Foundation. Too many lives are touched by cancer. I run with hope that every step brings us closer to better treatments, more breakthroughs, and lives saved. Thank you for supporting this journey. Together, we can go far.
