My Story…
Hi everyone,
I am running in the BMO Marathon (full distance) for the first time ever this year, and have begun a fundraising campaign to support the Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland.
Since 1960, the Big Sisters have been providing supportive mentoring relationships to youth who may be facing challenges like bullying, isolation, poverty, abuse, social anxiety, low self-esteem, and more.

Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland enable life changing mentoring relationships to inspire, ignite and unleash the power and potential of youth. Big Sisters core mentorship programs offer a safe space for self-identifying girls, non-binary, transgender and gender-diverse youth from the ages for 7-17 to work with caring mentors to realize their full potential.
It takes just one stable, committed adult in a young person’s life to make a difference. By matching youth with adult volunteers in quality one-to-one and group mentoring relationships, Big Sisters ensure girls and youth can access the support they need to build a brighter future.
