My Story…
I grew up running competitively and won BC High School Championships in cross country (2013), and in the 1500m and 3000m on the track (2014). I went on to race for Washington State University, where I ran 29:30 for 10K.
After leaving the sport, I fell into addiction and lost touch with everything that was important to me. In 2024, I got clean at the Last Door Treatment Centre. Running became part of my recovery—not about chasing times, but about getting my life back
.
Now, with 6 months clean, I’m training for the BMO Vancouver Marathon to give back. Funds raised will support the Last Door Running Club—helping provide shoes and race entries for people in treatment. Running helped me rebuild, and now I want to help others do the same.
Thanks for your support.
