My Story…
"She who is Brave is Free"
Welcome! Please join me in empowering, encouraging and supporting girls, youth and young women through healthy and mentoring relationships from the start of their journeys.
Every day, I strive to be a role model for my daughter to learn resiliency, perseverance and strength. Just like I strive to show my son inclusivity, grace and respect.
I'll do the running and you donate = together, we will help women overcome adversity and unlock their full potential!
Here's a short clip about Big Sisters:
With my sincere Thanks,
Vera
Description
Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland enable life changing mentoring relationships to inspire, ignite and unleash the power and potential of youth. Big Sisters core mentorship programs offer a safe space for self-identifying girls, non-binary, transgender and gender-diverse youth from the ages for 7-17 to work with caring mentors to realize their full potential.
It takes just one stable, committed adult in a young person’s life to make a difference. By matching youth with adult volunteers in quality one-to-one and group mentoring relationships, Big Sisters ensure girls and youth can access the support they need to build a brighter future.
Thank you for your generous support of Big Sisters BMO marathon runners. Your gift will help us ignite the potential of youth across the Lower Mainland.
