Raise money for Tairua River Trail
| The Hikuai District Trust is a charitable trust which is responsible for planning and constructing the Tairua River Trail which the 21km distance of the Half Marathon runs along. The Trail starts at the Waterways in Pauanui and heads West along the Southern bank of the Tairua River towards Hikuai. The Trail is classified as a Grade 2 cycle way, but it has been specifically designed to accommodate walkers, runners and cyclists of all ages. The Trail provides magnificent views of the Tairua River and the Coromandel ranges beyond. Stages 1,2 have been completed and currently Stage 3 is underway. The vision of a trail connecting the townships of Tairua and Pauanui is the end goal. If you wish to contribute toward the fundraising efforts for the next stage of this trail your donation would be gratefully received. |
