My Story…
Over the last two years, I've used running as a way to reach personal goals. Now that those goals are in check, I have decided to run the Pittsburgh Marathon this upcoming May for a different reason - to raise money for a charity.
The charity that I have chosen is the Autism Connection of PA. From early youth detection to adult diagnosis, autism affects more people than you may realize, as well as their family and friends. This organization has been instrumental in providing support and education since 1996.
Some people will never seek a professional diagnosis and as a result, do not receive the support that they deserve. Society has recently been more accepting to the Autistic community, but people affected still worry about discrimination and social exclusion. The Autism Connection advocates for those very individuals who are afraid to seek help.
Join me in supporting the Autism community. Thank you for reading, and to those of you who donate.
Donate to help Brian raise money for 2025 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend’s fundraising campaign.
