My Story…
My friends in Haiti have endured such hardship over the past few years! I feel like running a race seems incredibly trivial compared to the difficulty of everyday life in Haiti.
But, this Run for Hope is one thing that I can do to support the work that they are doing in four remote villages in Haiti. These funds will help with projects like:
**Mobile Medical Clinics that visit rural villages where there are no doctors.
**Farmer training to help local families grow more food at a time when many in Haiti do not have enough to eat one meal every day.
**Solar lighting for a bakery, so that bread can be baked before the heat of the day sets in. This bakery provides jobs to 5 people in the mountain village of Plain Matin and supplies bread to that community.
Will you join me in doing what we can from a distance at this time of extreme turmoil in Haiti?
