My Story…
I am back and at again running the 5k to raise funds for the Mario Lemieux Foundation! This foundation is dedicated to a cause that has become very close to my heart. They fund research, patient care and support for families in challenging medical situations such as cancer. I will be running in support of finding a cure. I was able to beat my goal of $150 last year, so my new goal this year is to raise $200! Any donation you could make would be greatly appreciated!

Since their founding in 1993, the Mario Lemieux Foundation has been focused on finding a cure for cancer by funding research and patient care, and supporting families in challenging medical situations. Through ongoing projects at the Mario Lemieux Center for Blood Cancers, the Mario Lemieux Lymphoma Center, the Mario Lemieux Immunotherapy Center, and the recently established Mario Lemieux Center for Heart Rhythm Care, we support research that translates to clinical trails and innovative therapies that save lives.
