My Story…
This year has been absolutely riddled with sickness and injury. It is absolutely easy to give up, to just throw the towel in and say ehhhh, next year. But next year can wait because there’s this year and a race to be ran. This year has a motto and it’s something to live by and that’s to never give up. It’s stupid easy to give up trying to run, even more so get up, with this traumatic brain injury that I received this year and that I’m fighting now. But last time I checked, I wasn’t declared to be weak. Everyday is a healing process.
I will be doing the half marathon this year. I will be running once again for Light of Life. Light of Life is my choice for the charity that I want to run for. They are a beacon to the community and they should be supported at all costs. FINAL PUSH!!
