My Story…
Five-year-old Hasitha turned her love for running into a mission to help homeless children receive an education. After learning that many kids without homes struggle to attend school, she launched "Hasitha Runs for Little Learners," a fundraiser where each lap she ran raised money for books, supplies, and tutoring.
Description
Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
