why i’m walking
this past year has been heavy, and i’m doing my best to reintegrate — to move, to heal, to show up.
i’m walking in support of open hand ministries, an organization that’s been helping first-time homebuyers build real stability and towards generational wealth for nearly 20 years. their work is rooted in justice and dignity — because everyone deserves a home.
i know times are uncertain, and it’s a lot to ask. this mission matters deeply, and it sends a message: we believe in community over hoarding, housing as a right, and care that’s collective.
