Treatment options are outdated, and children deserve better. More research means less invasive treatments, better outcomes, and more kids getting the chance to just be kids.

Two years ago, Sloane should have been running in the kids' marathon at this very race. Instead, she was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. Despite every challenge, her spirit, resilience, and infectious laughter inspire us to take action.

In her honour, and for every child fighting this battle, Sloane’s mom has created a run team to raise funds for childhood cancer research through the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation.
