This May, I’ll be running my very first marathon—a challenge that feels both exciting and daunting. I’ve chosen to dedicate this effort to an organization that has become so close to my heart: the Children’s Cottage Society.
I joined the Cottage in September 2024, and from day one, I have been incredibly fulfilled by our mission. From our Crisis Nursery to our Family Resource Network and safe infant surrender program, I'm proud to be a part of the impact we have on families in crisis.
I love to run, but a marathon has never been on my "to-do" list. Still, I'm motivated to take this challenge on by those who work tirelessly to serve the children and families who come through our doors.

Description
Children's Cottage Society is dedicated to building strong, healthy children and safe, loving families through our prevention programs and support services.
We work with families to increase protective factors and decrease risk factors as a strategy to promote child development, effective and nurturing parenting, and to support and strengthen family function
These efforts help fulfill our commitment to children, ensuring that their parents can provide a secure environment for them to grow up healthy and happy.
