Why am I supporting Foothills Academy Society?
The Happy Hallerz Are Back! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Greetings, wonderful humans!
Once again, Fionn and I—proudly running as The Happy Hallerz—are lacing up our runners for the Calgary Marathon on SATURDAY, May 24, 2025! This year, we're tackling the 5K with determination, a touch of grace (questionable), and the unwavering hope that we won’t regret our life choices around kilometer four.
But this isn’t just about crossing a finish line. It’s about making a real difference. Every dollar raised goes directly to Fionn’s school, an incredible place dedicated to supporting students with Learning Differences. For kids like Fionn, this isn’t just education—it’s empowerment, opportunity, and the chance to thrive in a world that doesn’t always accommodate unique minds.
Our fundraising goal is a bold $3,000, and with your generosity (and possibly some good karma points), we know we can reach it! If you’re able to donate, big or small, we would be forever grateful. And if you’re feeling adventurous—why not join our team? The more, the merrier!

We are back with our #StrideforGreatness at Foothills Academy Society! This organization helps thousands of children, youth and their families every year who have Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD with wrap-around services for literacy, psychology, camps, recreation, community education and school programs.
There are 4 teams competing to out-fundraise, out-spell, outrun, and out-silly each other to support building new program areas at Foothills Academy Society.
